Install Outlook

The beta opens the PrivCloud upload page from your mail client. Choosing files and inserting the link remain manual.

Before downloading

Web uploads follow your account permissions. WebDAV imports through Companion require Pro or active Team membership.

An Exchange/Microsoft 365 account supporting Mailbox 1.8 and permission to add a custom add-in. Accounts and clients without this support are not covered.

Beta download

Manual installation. Packages are not yet distributed through stores. Verify the checksum before installing and keep your recovery data safe.

Also download checksums.sha256. Compare the file SHA-256 with the line bearing its exact name before installing.

Add the manifest

In Outlook add-in management, open My add-ins > Custom add-ins > Add from File and select manifest.xml. The Microsoft documentation below explains access for your client.

Organization deployment

If custom add-ins are disabled, send manifest.xml to your Microsoft 365 administrator for review and deployment. Downloading alone does not install it.

Check that it works

Create a draft, open PrivCloud and choose your files in the upload page. Insert the resulting link into your message.

Need help?

The pane loads a PrivCloud HTTPS page. Check that your organization allows this address. Microsoft 365 policies can block beta installation.
