Install PrivCloud Android app

The full PrivCloud client with end-to-end encryption.

Before downloading

Using Companion, WebDAV and the native app requires a Pro account or active Team membership.

Android 7 or newer.

Beta download

Manual installation. Packages are not yet distributed through stores. Verify the checksum before installing and keep your recovery data safe.

Choose and verify the APK

Also download checksums.sha256. Compare the file SHA-256 with the line bearing its exact name before installing.

Install on Android

Open the downloaded APK, temporarily allow this installation source, then revoke that permission. These APKs use a debug signing key. If Android rejects an update due to a different signature, back up your data and contact support before uninstalling.

Sign in to PrivCloud

Open the full app, sign in with your Pro or Team account and unlock your E2E space. Keep your recovery method before changing devices.

Check that it works

Check sign-in and opening a small encrypted file.

Need help?

Check the Android version and architecture. Do not ignore an unexplained security alert or uninstall a vault containing your only keys.
